Threading is one of the oldest and precise techniques in hair removal. The process originates in Iran, India and Central Asia and more recently has gained popularity in Western Countries. Our experienced Beauty Technicians have over over 16 years, with the technique being passed down generations.
Threading involves a thin threat, doubled and then twisted. It is then rolled over areas of unwanted hair, pulling hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing, threading can remove multiple short rows of hair. Threading is advantageous in comparison to waxing as it is more precise in shaping areas of hair as well as it being gentler on the skin. Threading allows for a more defined and precise definition for the eyebrows.
There are different methods in completing the threading, the hand method, neck method & mouth method, with the latter being the most accurate. Our Beauty Technicians always use the mouth method to ensure that our customers get the most precise and accurate finish.

Threading is a version of hair removal focusing on small areas where the client would like a sharp, precise finish. This is popular for both women and men, and generally carried out on eyebrows and beard line ups. This can also be completed on most facial areas.
The process of threading involves doubling and twisting a thin piece of thread which is then rolled over unwanted hair removing short rows in a swift movement.
Our trained technician will hold a piece of thread between their hands, occasionally with one end in their teeth, and twist it. They’ll then hold the end of the twist over the section of hair you want removed and move the thread in a swift motion. The twisting motion traps hairs between the threads and lifts them out whole.
Threading is a simple and effective method that means the hair removal can be more accurate and precise compared to waxing. Some clients also prefer threading due to the speed of the appointment. The average eyebrow treatment can be as little as 15 minutes, with excellent results.
A further benefit of threading is no ingrown hairs. Not only is threading gentler compared to waxing, or some other hair removal techniques, but it doesn’t cause ingrown hairs which can be painful and lead to scaring.
